“It really began with our grandmother Grace who enjoyed giving a gift as much, if not more than, the recipient enjoyed receiving it. The time and thought she put into its lovely presentation was as important as the gift itself, which was much anticipated and a true joy to receive. Gram instilled in us this same joy of gifting along with a love of color, pattern, paper, ribbons and small treasures made by hand. Our mother Ginny showed us how to be loving and supportive wives and mothers while always putting some time aside for our own creative pursuits.”
Sisters Susan and Becky, and Susan’s daughter Elizabeth, design, create and market their specialty products, along with the helping hands of other creative family members as needed. The three first combined their talents during Elizabeth’s own wedding planning. “Creating the wedding favors and accessories, in particular, provided the perfect opportunity to combine our detail-oriented natures with our joy of gifting and love of small boxes. It was the knowledge we gained from this experience, along with the tremendous amount of fun and satisfaction we received, that convinced us to start our own business doing the same for others.”
They began designing for weddings, bridal showers, and birthdays, but just couldn’t resist the fun and adorable world of children and babies. “This business affords us the opportunity to be a part of all the special occasions in a person’s life, from their engagement party to their children’s birthday parties and we love it.”
